Refund Policy
We’re a small creator-run shop, so we keep our policies simple and transparent.
1. How refunds work
You have 10 days from the date of purchase to request a refund for eligible physical products.
After 10 days, orders are considered final and we’re not able to offer a refund or exchange.
Please note:
- Shipping fees are non-refundable
- Returned physical products are subject to a 50% restocking fee, because once a book has been handled, it can’t be resold as new
2. Digital products (ebooks, PDFs, downloads)
All digital products are final sale.
Because files are delivered instantly and can’t be “returned,” we do not offer refunds on ebooks, PDFs, or other downloads.
3. What you need to start a return
Before sending anything back, please email support@luislan.org.
Include:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Date of purchase
- Brief reason for the return
We may also ask for receipt or proof of purchase and, if applicable, photos (for damaged items).
Please wait for our instructions before mailing anything back.
4. What happens after we receive your return
Once your return arrives, we’ll:
- Inspect the item
- Email you to confirm we received it
- Let you know whether your refund is approved or denied
If approved, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method, minus any restocking and shipping fees.
Your bank or card issuer may take a few business days to post the credit.
5. Order cancellations
Orders move into processing and production quickly and incur non-refundable costs on our side.
- If you cancel before your order has shipped, we deduct a 15% cancellation fee + $1.50 processing fee.
- If you cancel after your order has shipped, we deduct:
- 15% cancellation fee
- $1.50 processing fee
- Any shipping & handling costs
To request a cancellation, email support@luislan.org with your order number as soon as possible.
6. Late or missing refunds
If you were approved for a refund and don’t see it yet:
- Check your bank or credit card statement again.
- Contact your card issuer — it may take time before the refund is posted.
- Contact your bank — processing times can vary.
If you’ve done all of the above and still don’t see your refund, email support@luislan.org and we’ll look into it.
7. Sale items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds.
Items purchased on sale, promotion, or marked as final sale cannot be refunded.
8. Damaged or defective items (exchanges)
If your book arrives damaged or defective, we’ll gladly make it right.
Email support@luislan.org within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos clearly showing the issue
If approved, we’ll send a replacement copy of the same item.
9. Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, an approved return may be issued as store credit or a gift credit.
If the item was not marked as a gift (or shipped to the gift giver first), any approved refund will be sent to the original purchaser.
10. Return shipping
When returning an item:
- You’re responsible for paying the return shipping cost.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- If we cover or arrange return shipping on your behalf, the amount we paid may be deducted from your refund.
For higher-value items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance, as we can’t guarantee receipt of items sent without tracking.
